International Tax Manager

What We Need:
This position will report into our Senior Manager of Global Tax and has primary responsibility for reviewing all the US tax compliance reporting for Brady’s international subsidiaries, analyzing the US tax impact of non-US activities, assisting with the implementation of global tax plans & restructurings, and working with local finance managers on non-US income tax issues. This position will work closely with all members of the global tax team, the global finance teams and the corporate treasury function.
In addition to the primary responsibility of US tax compliance reporting for Brady’s international subsidiaries, this position has additional responsibility for US GAAP income tax accounting, footnote preparation assistance, ASC 740 documentation as well as assisting the Senior Global Tax Manager with tax structuring, planning, transfer pricing, and cash movements to minimize our global tax burden.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Annual review of Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865 and Form 1118 and the US foreign tax credit including calculating foreign source income and allocable expenses.
+ Quarterly and annual preparation of all international aspects of the global effective income tax rate including completing detailed FTC, GILTI and ASC 740 calculations.
+ Review of the annual US GAAP foreign tax provision calculations completed by the local finance personnel and approval of all return-to-provision adjustments.
+ Assistance with restructuring and planning projects including preparing analysis related to restructuring and cash repatriation.
+ Coordination with the Senior Global Tax Manager and Senior Tax Director to implement tax planning ideas identified designed to reduce our global tax burden
+ Assistance with complex tax planning projects, performing technical research, and drafting tax policies.
+ Assistance with transfer pricing documentation, BEPS local file reporting, intercompany agreements, and related analysis.
+ Continuous identification of enhancement opportunities to the international tax reporting processes.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
+ 4-7 years of international tax experience in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
+ Bachelors degree in Accounting.
+ CPA certification preferred, but not required.
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
+ Experience with Corptax compliance software and SAP ERP System is a plus.
+ Strong tax research skills.
+ Experience with participating and building a finance team across multiple disciplines and cultures.
+ Production-oriented mindset with desire to close projects completely and accurately.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills in dealing with all levels of personnel.
Travel:
None at present but some limited travel may be required for international tax projects.
