**Contract Type:** Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant

**Starting Pay Range:** $39.78 /hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in aerospace technology to seek a **Manufacturing Engineer** who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you’ll help transform cutting-edge designs into real-world aerospace systems that define the future of flight and defense. Your work will directly support the production of mission-critical components while driving efficiency, quality, and innovation on the manufacturing floor.

What You’ll Do

+ Design and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts for complex assemblies and machining operations.

+ Develop and document production sequences, equipment specifications, and inspection/test requirements.

+ Support process control and continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

+ Update and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) to meet production and engineering requirements.

+ Develop clear and precise visual work instructions using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

+ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with production capabilities and regulatory standards.

+ Provide hands-on support to resolve issues on the production floor and conduct peer reviews.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

+ 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar production environment.

+ Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

+ Proficiency in CATIA, SAP, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.**

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience developing visual work instructions and process documentation.

+ Familiarity with statistical process control methods.

+ Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and deadlines.

+ Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges.

**Pay Details:** $39.78 per hour
