Lab Digital Coordinator

Position Overview:

As a Lab Digital Coordinator, you will develop and drive long-term digital and data system strategies to support lab operations. You will work cross-functionally within a team environment to implement digital tools in a timely manner, serving as a liaison and advocate for the lab with other functions and IT teams. Your role will involve partnering with data analysts and IT teams to streamline and automate operations and data analysis, effectively troubleshooting current digital processes, and ensuring error resolution. As a member of the End 2 End mission team, you will maintain strong relationships with the team and other lab personnel to support operations and resolve testing challenges. You will support lab activities through reporting, organizing, and visualizing large amounts of data in an easy-to-digest format, participate in continuous improvement programs, and engage in Bayer’s ESH safety program and cross-site projects.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Develop and drive long-term digital and data system strategies;

+ Work cross-functionally to implement digital tools for lab operations;

+ Serve as a liaison and advocate for the lab with IT teams;

+ Partner with data analysts and IT teams to streamline operations and data analysis;

+ Troubleshoot digital processes and ensure error resolution;

+ Support lab activities through data reporting and visualization;

+ Participate in continuous improvement programs and perform root cause analyses;

+ Engage in onePSS programs and initiatives;

+ Participate in Bayer’s ESH safety program and cross-site projects.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma & 5 years of experience in a quality laboratory setting;

+ Ability to think critically about the business.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ BA/BS in biology, microbiology, pathology, chemistry, or a related field;

+ Knowledge of process improvement tools/systems such as Six Sigma, LEAN, onePSS, etc.;

+ Demonstration of courage, candor, and initiative in past assignments.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
