We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect / SME with a strong background in PolicyCenter Cloud implementation and end-to-end Guidewire suite expertise. This is a key technical leadership role where you will design, build, and enhance solutions using Guidewire applications, ensuring they align with complex business needs in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects, supporting development and production environments, and collaborating across teams to deliver robust and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the design and development of Guidewire-based solutions with a strong focus on PolicyCenter Cloud.
+ Configure and integrate PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter applications.
+ Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and performance optimization for BillingCenter.
+ Utilize tools like GitHub, TortoiseSVN, Jenkins, JIRA, and Azure DevOps for version control, deployment, and issue tracking.
+ Develop and manage integration services using SOAP/REST APIs, XML, XSD, and plugins.
+ Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and system efficiency.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
+ Apply Agile methodologies and manage release cycles effectively.
+ Guide the estimation process, support planning efforts, and review technical documentation and test plans.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
+ Proven experience in PolicyCenter Cloud implementation is essential.
+ In-depth knowledge of Guidewire OOTB features across PC, CC, and BC.
+ Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including CI/CD practices.
+ Familiarity with the Insurance Application Architecture (IAA) model.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
+ Prior experience with performance tuning and optimizing database interactions.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Desirable Traits:
+ Well-versed in the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
+ Strong leadership, team mentoring, and problem-solving capabilities.
+ Ability to debug complex system issues and suggest long-term improvements.
