Idaho National Laboratory is hiring aConfiguration Management Specialistto work in support of our Advanced Reactor Technology and Design team. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our REC facility with every other Friday off.
Participate in the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to the control, maintenance, and documentation of design requirements; technical document control, e.g., blueprints, operating manuals; and change control for new or modified engineering systems or equipment in accordance with contractual and/or regulatory requirements.

*Minimum Requirements: *
* Level 2: Bachelor's Degree with 2 years related experience or in lieu of a degree 8 years of directly related experience.
* Level 3: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years related experience or in lieu of a degree 11 years of directly related experience.
* Proficiency in MS Office, database development and management, and web content management.
* Computer skills including the ability to do spreadsheets, word processing, databases, presentations, and graphics.
* This position may be subject to export control restrictions per the Department of Energy (DOE). For this reason, must be a US Citizen.
* Relevant experience in change control as wells asdocument and records management.
*The ideal candidate will possess: *
* Working knowledge of the various INL management systems and program functions.
* Advanced experience using a wide variety of document management, lifecycle management, and collaboration tools.

*Job Information: *
* The pay range for this position is: Level 2 ($56,196 - $109,644) / Level 3 ($65,064 - $133,416). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
* Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on depth and breadth of proven experience and skills.
*Physical Requirements*
While performing the duties of this classification, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, for long periods of time. Work is performed in an office and field/operating facility environment. The job requires hand/finger dexterity to keyboard or type, handle materials, manipulate tools, and reach with hands and arms. The job requires the operation of office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds with assistance. Sufficient visual acuity and hearing capacity to perform the essential functions and interact with people is required.
