What You Will Do
As a **Project Engineer Intern** you will be responsible for planning, execution, and tracking Engine Repair development activities both domestically and internationally. As a member of the ASE Project Engineering team, you will work closely with a fully cross functional team ranging from design, structures, tooling, manufacturing, and validation, to deliver new repair capability to our customers. In this role, you will also collaborate with various repair development teams to create and implement technologies for repair related non-conformances. Repair development activity within the group spans all programs and engines and the project engineer role has core responsibility for project ownership, planning, scheduling, and coordination of the repair effort to the committed timeline.
As a **Project Engineer Intern** , your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Participate in the development and maintenance of multi project plans for various military engine discretionary repair development tasks.
+ Support priority communication and coordination between vested parties including Design Engineering and Project Engineering teams.
+ Interact with fully cross-functional teams to develop military road mapping and competitive assessments.
+ Participate in status level reviews to communicate status, next steps, risks to schedule, and potential corrective actions.
+ Contribute to repair status meetings by providing updates on progress against project plans and key commitments.
+ Participate in the creation of process flow maps for path forward processes.
+ Support agile initiatives to streamline program execution.
+ Participate in after action reviews.
+ Draft Engineering Standard Work (EKS) documents in accordance with latest process requirements for process development systems.
+ Improve measurement tools to identify on time delivery goals and current performance.
+ Support the integration of safety and compliance requirements into project planning and execution.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
+ Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience.
+ Experience with customer interactions.
+ Experience performing tasks in a manufacturing or shop floor environment.
+ Experience reading and communicating part and tool drawing requirements.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
