Job Summary:
The Manager, Inclusion – Colleague Resource Groups will lead the vision, strategy, and operations of Sysco’s global Colleague Resource Group (CRG) network, ensuring these groups deliver measurable impact for colleagues and the business. In addition to CRG leadership, this role will manage Sysco’s participation in major enterprise Inclusion events such as the Women’s Foodservice Forum annual conference and serve as the primary point of contact for external organizations seeking inclusion-related sponsorships or strategic partnerships. The Manager will balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, partnering closely with CRG leaders, Executive Sponsors, senior leadership, and peers in other geographies to maintain global cohesion, operational excellence, and cultural impact. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing a global network of employee resource groups and building relationships with external partners, while excelling at both high-level strategy and tactical delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set the vision, annual goals, and strategic roadmap for Sysco’s global CRG program in alignment with Inclusion and enterprise priorities, collaborating with peers in other geographies to ensure consistent governance, resources, and unified execution of CRG initiatives globally
Establish and maintain governance standards, consistent operating models, and alignment across CRGs globally.
Serve as a consultative resource for CRG leaders as they design and execute initiatives, campaigns, and events that drive engagement and impact.
Develop and implement strategic and meaningful engagement opportunities for CRG Executive Sponsors, ensuring they are well-informed, actively involved, and equipped to champion CRG initiatives and enterprise-wide inclusion priorities.
Facilitate monthly CRG Leadership Council meetings to deliver key information and drive collaboration and engagement across the network.
Oversee the annual CRG planning and budgeting process, reviewing and approving CRG business plans and ensuring fiscal accountability.
Develop and deliver toolkits, playbooks, communications, and other resources to enable CRG success.
Plan and execute Sysco’s annual Global CRG Day, ensuring high-quality programming and colleague engagement worldwide.
Lead Sysco’s participation in the Women’s Foodservice Forum annual conference, including planning and logistics.
Define and track key performance indicators to assess CRG engagement, impact, and ROI; prepare and deliver executive-level reports.
Serve as primary point of contact for external inclusion-related sponsorship requests, evaluating opportunities for strategic alignment and ROI.
Perform other duties as assigned to support broader Inclusion and enterprise priorities.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business, Communications, or a relevant field preferred
Experience:
+ 5+ years of direct experience managing a global network of employee resource groups, with proven success in strategy, governance, and hands-on program execution
+ Demonstrated ability to balance strategic leadership and tactical delivery in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
+ Experience managing budgets, events, and large-scale engagement initiatives
+ Proven ability to coach and mentor volunteer leaders to enhance leadership capability and drive impact.
Technical Skills and Abilities:
+ Strong strategic and operational agility, with the ability to move seamlessly between high-level vision and tactical execution.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation, presentation development, and influencing senior leaders.
+ Strong project and time management skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
+ High cultural competence and ability to work effectively across geographies and diverse populations.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with data tools and virtual collaboration platforms preferred.
+ High attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to quality execution.
+ Ability to interface with multiple levels of the organization and communicate effectively both verbal and written
