The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
Summary of Role:
We are seeking a highly-motivated Accounting Senior Manager to be part of the ESC&C team within the Raytheon Technologies’ Enterprise Service organization in Farmington, CT. This person will perform the following primary responsibilities.
What You Will do:
+ Responsible for Pratt & Whitney Intercompany Accounting, leading a team of 9+ individuals including 2 team leads.
+ Take macro approach in determining root causes impacting unreconciled issues. Apply knowledge to lead BU participants in process improvements around intercompany to solve root cause issues. Conduct value stream mapping events.
+ Drive process improvements across entities and work closely with other Business Unit leads to create value for RTX by eliminating waste and increasing controls.
+ Review assigned account reconciliations monthly, following up on unreconciled items with timely resolution and accounting for financial risk.
+ Responsible for the completeness of monthly closing tasks. The Senior Manager has overall responsibility to ensure at the RTX consolidated level that all intercompany transactions are in balance to support the external financial reporting.
+ Grow and develop others through training, creating opportunities, and ensuring a positive work environment.
+ Participate in the Intercompany Leadership Team to actively ensure that customer needs are fulfilled across the department.
Qualifications You Must Have
+ This role typically requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration and at least 10 years of directly related experience OR an advanced degree and 7 years of directly related professional experience gained in a fast-paced, deadline driven large corporate or public accounting setting.
+ At least 5 years of experience in intercompany accounting, consolidation, or global shared services within a multinational organization to include strong knowledge of US GAAP (or IFRS) and consolidation/elimination principles
+ At least 2 years’ experience in managing, leading and mentoring a team and overseeing multiple accounting functions.
+ At least 5 years’ experience with and knowledge of corporate monthly account reconciliations, following up on unreconciled items with timely resolution and accounting for financial risk.
+ Strong proficiency with MS Office products especially Excel and database reporting skills
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ CPA/MBA is a plus
+ Operational Finance experience preferred including Intercompany processes
+ Knowledge and reporting experience with SAP and OneStream
+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
+ Ability to maintain a service-oriented demeanor with professionalism in sensitive and challenging situations
+ Experience with current finance and accounting/ ERP systems (e.g. SAP, OneStream) to include advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools and month-end close procedures
+ Experience and knowledge of the monthly corporate closing process to include ensuring at the RTX consolidated level that all intercompany transactions are in balance to support the external financial reporting.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
