    POSITION SUMMARY** **:

    The Michael Foods Research & Development group is offering an exciting opportunity to work as a Product Development intern. In this role, you will experience working in a Research and Development environment in our test kitchen and in our manufacturing plants. You will work closely with other product developers and engineers as we develop and manufacture new food products.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Intern will learn the practical application of:

    + Bench top formula development

    + Ingredients qualification

    + Product testing

    + Preservative application

    + Report writing

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    + Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree Food Science or Food Engineering program with an interest and aptitude to work in product development.
