    Job Overview

     

    Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for Fairview **Lakes Medical Center** located in Wyoming, MN! This position offers about 58 hours over a 2 week pay period and is not benefit eligible. This is a **temporary** opportunity.

     

    The Nutrition Services Aide prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner, serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays

     

    Schedule

     

    Week one

     

    Mon through Wed 7am-2:30pm

     

    Saturday and Sunday 6:30am-3pm

     

    Week two

     

    Tue through Thu 7am-2:30pm

    Responsibilities

    + Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated area

    + Prepares and delivers patient nourishments and tube feeding per department standards.

    + Plates and serves food

    + Accurately place correct item on tray in proper location in accordance with department productivity standards.

    + Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operating procedures.

    + Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.

    + Serves customers in cafeterias, doctor’s dining rooms and other non-patient locations.

    + Accurately operates cash register.

    Required Qualifications

    + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.

    + Basic math skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High School Diploma/GED
