PeopleReady of Waite Park, MN is now hiring Fabricators in Sauk Rapids, MN! This position is the first of three levels of fabrication of high quality, custom aluminum windows. The employee works within one department in the production area and knows less than 100% of the tasks within that department. This may include a training period;

Pay Rate:

_The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*_

What you'll be doing as a Fabricator:

+ Work together with team members to accomplish department and company goals for efficiency, quality and delivery dates

+ Tasks may include processing, assembly, glazing, cutting, etc.

+ May be required to operate saws, punches, drill presses, crimper, hand drills, etc.

+ Assure that all parts meet quality criteria; report errors or quality issues immediately

+ Work safely and report any unsafe activities or equipment

+ Drive continuous improvement around established processes and procedures

+ Ask questions when instructions or tasks are unclear

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 2nd Shift (Evening)

Job requirements:

+ Physical demands of the job require good balance, agility and ability to stand for long periods of time; may also need to lift up to 75 pounds

+ Basic computer skills and accurate counting ability

+ Attention to housekeeping

+ Must be able to read a tape measure accurately

+ Ability to read blueprints a plus

+ Experience with hand tools or power tools

+ High attention to detail

+ Good communication skills

+ Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision

+ Previous manufacturing experience required

+ Job shop experience preferred

+ Background Check Required
