    Job Title: Construction AdministratorJob Description

     

    We are seeking a seasoned and driven Architectural Construction Administrator with 10–20 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in the field, is passionate about quality assurance and control, and aspires to establish and lead Construction Administration (CA) processes within the firm. You will be instrumental in shaping our CA standards, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the successful execution of architectural projects from design through construction.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage the Construction Administration phase of multiple architectural projects.

    + Develop, implement, and oversee firm-wide CA protocols and best practices.

    + Conduct site visits, review submittals, RFIs, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.

    + Ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and building codes.

    + Spearhead QA/QC processes to maintain high standards of documentation and construction quality.

    + Collaborate with project architects and design teams to resolve field issues efficiently.

    + Mentor junior staff and contribute to professional development within the CA team.

    + Maintain detailed records of construction progress, issues, and resolutions.

    + Act as a primary liaison between the firm, clients, and construction teams.

    + Contribute to projects in the education, municipal, and community sectors, ensuring alignment with public agency standards and stakeholder requirements.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.

    + 10–20 years of experience in architectural construction administration.

    + Demonstrated experience with education, municipal, and community-based projects.

    + Deep understanding of construction documentation, building systems, and detailing.

    + Proven experience in QA/QC processes and field coordination.

    + Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.

    + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

    + Proficiency in Revit and construction management software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, BIM 360).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Architectural licensure preferred but not required.

    + Familiarity with AutoCAD.

    The work environment features a new open office concept located outside of Uptown. The firm offers a full compensation package and benefits. It is a growing firm, highly involved in the architecture community, with ample resources for career growth.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

     

    Full company benefits, PTO, holidays, fully on site in office

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Charlotte,NC.
