Pay Rate:

What you'll be doing as an Operating Roller Compactor:

+ Safely operate roller compactors to compact various materials like soil, gravel, subgrade, and asphalt

+ Maneuver the roller to achieve required density, surface evenness, and grade specifications for roads, sidewalks, and foundations

+ Perform daily inspections of the roller, checking fluids, and performing light maintenance to ensure proper function

+ Monitor equipment operation and adjust speed, direction, angle, frequency, and amplitude settings to meet job requirements

+ Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, participate in safety meetings, and identify and report potential hazards

+ Read and interpret project plans, stakes, and specifications to determine the necessary compaction levels and methods

Shift timings - All Available

Job requirements:

+ A valid driver's license, and sometimes a CDL (Class A or B), may be required

+ You must be able to lift, pull, or push a minimum of 50 lbs and have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and balance at heights

+ Ability to show up to all shifts
