Job Summary
+ Title: Assistant Nurse Manager
+ Schedule: Full-time (40 hours). Actual hours will vary, this is an exempt position but will be generally day shift hours.
+ Department: Operating Room
+ Location: Medical Park Hospital- 1950 South Hawthorne Road, Winston- Salem, North Carolina
+ Unit Info: This facility has the capability to run 11 Operating Rooms. Cases consists of cysto/urology, general, GYN, robotic, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, oral & vascular cases.
+ Requirements: At least 2 years of operating room experience required, bachelors degree required.
+ Day to day: Assisting with staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, running the schedule, acting as charge as needed, jump into staffing as needed.

Responsibilities
+ Provides clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level
+ Assisting with staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, running the schedule, acting as charge as needed, jump into staffing as needed.
Qualifications
+ Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN preferred.
+ Graduate Degree, preferred.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.
+ Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
+ NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
+ Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications
+ Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
