The Senior Lead Counsel -** **will** **support the day to day legal coverage of** **Americas Equities Team.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities, as delegated by the lead Attorney for the business unit, will include: providing advice and guidance to the business on a broad range of equities derivatives and other bespoke transactions; providing advice and guidance on legal and regulatory matters related to broad equities activities of Citi's ICG** **businesses;** **providing advice and direction on the drafting and negotiation of complex transaction agreements; and participating in regulatory initiatives and special projects relating to the Americas equities derivatives business.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will be expected to have

6+ years of experience

Deep knowledge and understanding of US equity derivatives regulation and market practice

Experience negotiating derivatives and other transactional documentation

Experience reviewing and analyzing legal opinions relating to equities derivative activities, including Basel III well founded basis standard of legal opinion and documentation review

Proven analytical and organizational skills

Bar license in good standing to practice law

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$211,280.00 - $316,920.00
