The **Director of Behavioral Health Breakthrough Therapies** is responsible for supporting, developing, and harmonizing Behavioral Health (BH) clinical research and care pathways within the Hackensack Meridian Health BH Service Line.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

+ MD or DO degree Graduate of ACGME approved residency in Psychiatry.

+ Minimum 7 years of experience with progressive responsibility.

+ Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, legal documents, journals, and technical procedures.

+ Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

+ Ability to work with statistics and probabilities. Applying percentages and ratios to practical situations.

+ Ability to solve practical problems and deal with situations that have many variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in any form given.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

+ Current New Jersey medical license.

+ Current US Department of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certificate.

+ Current NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) certificate.

+ Board certified or Board eligible in the American Board of Psychiatry.

Minimum rate of $127,212.80 Annually

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
