You will be the **IRST Production Operations Senior Manager** for the **Infrared Search and Track** team\. Our team is responsible for leading operations execution of complex defense programs\.

What You Will Be Doing

As the IRST Production Operations Senior Manager you will be responsible for ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex defense products\.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

+ Operations Leadership: devise and implement execution strategies, objectives, and deliverables aligned with program requirements\.

+ Production Operations Management: oversee scope, schedule, budget, and risk; monitor progress and drive corrective actions\.

+ Stakeholder Management: serve as primary liaison for internal and external functional partners and key stakeholders\.

+ Team Leadership: mentor direct reports, foster a collaborative high‑performance culture, and support all production teams\.

+ Financial & Risk Management: own budgets and forecasts, identify cost‑saving opportunities, and mitigate program risks\.

MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.

Basic Qualifications:

\- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience

\- Knowledge of defense industry regulations and requirements, including ITAR, DFARS, and FAR \(Federal Acquisition Regulation\)\.

\- Proven experience managing large, complex programs with budgets exceeding $100 million\.

\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers\.

\- Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced, dynamic environment\.

\- Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make data\-driven decisions\.

\- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite: Ability to create project and milestone charts, and use data and create value added presentations to report updates, status reports, etc\.

\- Proficiency in project management tools and software \(ERP, Visio, Project etc\.\)\.

\- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills\.

\- Excellent oral, written, negotiation, and presentation skills\.

\- Experience with customer and stakeholder communication

\- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance, which requires U\.S\. citizenship

Desired Skills:

\- Master’s degree preferred – MBA, Engineering, or related field

\- PMP or equivalent certification

\- Earned Value Management System experience

\- Experience leading cross functional teams and working across different business organizations and customer communities

\- Proven experience managing large, complex programs with budgets exceeding $100 million\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
