_What Specialty Pharmacy contributes to Cardinal Health_
Pharmacy Operations is responsible for the safe, efficient and effective coordination of Cardinal Health's pharmacy operations that service acute care hospitals, hospital retail customers, ambulatory care and alternate site facilities, oncology and cardiology practices as well as retail customers.
Specialty Pharmacy is responsible for fulfilling customer requests, resolving customers' technical problems, and responding to customers' questions through on-site and telephone contact.
_Responsibilities_
+ Interacting with patients regarding medication /sales
+ Judication of claims - working with providers and health insurances
+ Labeling of bottles
+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor
_Qualifications_
+ Pharmacy Technician license required
+ Insurance knowledge / prior authorizations
+ 1-2 years of experience, highly preferred
+ High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
+ Work a M-F work schedule

+ Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
+ Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
+ Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
+ Adheres to all quality guidelines
+ Works under moderate degree of supervision
+ Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
+ Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
**Anticipated hourly range:** $21.20 per hour - $30.19 per hour
