    JoB SUMMARY

    The Senior Manager, Partner and Program Management is a key member of the Global Cards team, which is an exciting and growing part of the business and a critical pillar in the company’s growth plans in the coming years. Working closely with the VP Partnership Management and New Product Development and the Senior Director, Cobrand Growth and Strategic Initiatives, this role is the key point of contact for internal relationships, including performance updates, internal team needs, business reviews, and issue management. This role will also help to create various leadership updates as needed, and interfaces as needed with our two US bank partners.

     

    This Senior Manager is the legal liaison for the US team, and will also help track and drive key strategic projects across the co-brand program, working with project owners and stakeholders. This role also serves as the point of connection within Marriott teams (especially LCB) to ensure visibility and inclusion for the Global Cards team.

     

    Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking skills, exceptional attention to detail, a proven ability to summarize information for senior leaders, comfort with ambiguity, and a willingness to be tested on difficult projects and initiatives.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Education and Experience Required

     

    4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major

     

    5+ years of relevant professional experience in consulting, business development, project management and/ or program management

     

    Experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive project execution and issue management

     

    Demonstrated ability to create reports, dashboards and updates to help drive project implementation, and creating impactful PowerPoint presentations

     

    Education and Experience Preferred

    MBA

    Experience in credit card issuer or financial services

     

    Experience in managing contracts and/or negotiations

     

    Proven ability to manage concurrent multiple projects, systematically identifying key issues and highlighting accomplishments

     

    Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish

    CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

    Partner Management

     

    Manage and close all partner legal issues, such as regulatory and contractual needs with the banks including data security, governance, etc.

     

    Support US Cobrand issuer strategy

     

    Support, as needed, the directors of New Product Development and Capabilities on bank needs

     

    Program Management

     

    Own and drive agenda for internal Cobrand team meetings including biweekly core team meetings

     

    Organize and run quarterly all hands meeting for extended team including scheduling the meeting, crafting the agenda, collating content, and gathering feedback

     

    Work closely with SVP of Global Cards to ensure connectivity and team alignment within the Global Cards team on key workstreams and updates

     

    Working closely with Cobrand Sr. Leadership, manage content for executive updates (e.g., CEO quarterly business reviews, Board of Director updates). Work with teams to ensure information is available and key messages aligned.

     

    Lead with legal to ensure all questions/issues are surfaced and resolved in a timely manner. Manage all side letters, email agreements, MSAs and SOWs, ensure proper documentation, and cascade appropriately

     

    Manage cobrand reporting and document repository. Manage robust reporting and reporting audience and cadence, covering business results, KPIs, financials across card products.

     

    Lead Cobrand AES team and liaison with cobrand leadership on opportunities and feedback
