Data Product Analyst
Role Overview:
As a Data Product Analyst Intern, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive product development and business strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
+ **Data Analysis:** Conduct deep-dive analyses to extract insights from complex datasets. You'll use statistical methods and data visualization techniques to interpret data effectively.
+ **Product Development:** Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements for data products. You'll contribute to creating intuitive and impactful dashboards and tools.
+ **Stakeholder Engagement:** Work with various teams to understand their data needs and present findings that support their objectives. You'll communicate insights clearly and effectively.
+ **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in the ongoing refinement of data products, ensuring they meet user needs and adapt to changing business conditions.
+ **Learning & Development:** You'll have the opportunity to learn new tools and technologies, stay updated on industry trends, and develop your skills in data analytics.
On a typical day you will:
+ **Explore and Analyze:** Examine datasets to identify trends and extract insights using data analysis tools.
+ **Collaborate:** Participate in meetings to discuss project updates and align on data-driven solutions.
+ **Develop Data Product Development:** Contribute to designing and developing data products, ensuring they meet user needs.
+ **Data Visualization:** Create and refine visual reports to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
+ **Learning and Development:** Enhance skills through eLearning platforms and shadowing experienced analysts.
+ **Feedback and Iteration:** Incorporate feedback to improve data products and processes for better outcomes.
+ **Documentation:** Record analysis processes and product development progress for future reference and sharing.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
+ **Pursuing a Degree** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
+ **Academic Standing:** Good academic standing, demonstrating a strong foundation in quantitative and analytical coursework.
+ **Analytical Skills:** Ability to examine data sets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** Familiarity with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or Python.
+ **Communication Skills:** Ability to effectively present findings and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
+ **Problem-Solving Ability:** Strong aptitude for identifying issues and developing data-driven solutions.
+ **Attention to Detail:** Keen eye for accuracy and quality in data analysis and reporting.
+ **Curiosity and Learning Mindset:** Eagerness to learn new tools, techniques, and industry trends.
+ **Team Player Attitude:** Willingness to collaborate and contribute positively to team dynamics.
Salary Range:
The hourly range for this role is $25-26/hr. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
