About The Role:
As a CBRE Creative Senior Director, reporting to the VP Global Creative, you will lead an in-house creative team in strategizing, developing, and executing creative projects in support of the organization to accomplish business goals for an assigned Line of Business at a global level. You will operate at the enterprise-level and be focused on expanding the brand through impactful creative and help facilitate the translation of marketing objectives into creative strategies and solutions.
This is a multifaceted role, providing leadership, formal supervision and scheduling of assigned team(s). Individuals in this role must be highly flexible and collaborative, respond quickly to feedback and evolving needs, hit deadlines, and adjust on the fly while maintaining standards of quality, design requirements, and brand guidelines. You will serve as a global creative leader, a motivating and inspiring force to get the best performance out of the team, and are accountable for the effective utilization of resources.
This role is based in our New York City office at 200 Park Avenue and requires 2-3 days in the office.
What You'll Do:
+ Supervise a team of creative designers and be accountable for both daily creative execution as well as setting creative direction for various strategic marketing initiatives.
+ Conceptualize, develop and direct creative projects for video, print, digital, motion, storyboards, and infographics.
+ Be “hands on” with design work
+ Think conceptually and develop creative solutions that are system-based and scalable.
+ Oversee and approve creative direction for large and high-profile marketing campaigns.
+ Direct agency partner work when appropriate.
+ Lead the delivery of project deadlines. Base project specifications on client need within corporate standards.
+ Work directly with global leaders toward the alignment of worldwide design marketing initiatives.
+ Ensure the team delivers consistency within existing brand guidelines with a high level of execution.
+ Apply deep knowledge of multiple fields, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness.
+ Drive financial and functional performance within the creative team and across the business.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
+ Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy.
+ Conceptualize new processes, tools and standards across job and creative functions.
+ Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant creative and design experience at either an agency or in-house. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ The ability to lead, coach, inspire and motivate a team to create and deliver truly remarkable, influential and impactful work.
+ Encourage pioneering techniques and thought leadership activities to stimulate professional development and inspiration within the team.
+ Experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
+ Provide creative leadership, inspiring a culture of creativity, across the teams and with cross-functional partners / vendors. Ability to interact with internal and external clients at an executive level up through C-suite.
+ Ability to develop innovative guidelines, build principles, and standard methodologies while aligning team output to reach a consistent standard.
+ Capable of effectively managing the day-to-day operational functions of multiple internal clients, across multiple business verticals.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Have advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus).
+ Motion and video experience a plus.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
+ Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.
+ Expert math skills. Ability to calculate complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial- related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Creative Senior Director position is $195,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Creative Senior Director position is $215,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
