Do you like to problem solve by working with your hands? As a Utilities Metering Systems Technician, you will do that by assisting in the installation , maintenance and troubleshooting of electric and water metering systems.

This position is located in College Station, TX. Remote/Work from alternate location is not available at this time .
Qualifications
Master Utilities Metering Technician
+ Requires high school or equivalent & 7 years of experience working with meters or related equipment.
+ Responsible for installing, maintaining , troubleshooting, and inspecting electric meters and water metering systems . Use metering software to setup meter parameters, download meter data, and integrate meters and sensors into meter PLCs and meter software.
+ Valid driver's license
+ Pay Range $30.21-$33.23
Senior Utilities Metering Technician
+ Requires high school or equivalent & 5 years of experience working with meters or related equipment
+ Responsible for Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and inspecting electric meters and water metering systems.
+ Valid driver's license
+ Pay Range $26.27-$28.89
Opportunities to contribute:
+ Installation of electric metering devices, and meters that monitor chilled and heating hot water, domestic water, steam, and Irrigation metering. Installation and set-up of temperature sensors.
+ Maintains up to date working knowledge of relevant regulatory issues and technological changes in the metering of utilities.
+ Perform s the documentation of metering locations.
+ Contributes to a safe work environment by reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions, uses proper personal protective equipment, follows safety procedures outlined in Material Safety Data Sheets, and participates in safety training
