    Job Summary

    The Cook is responsible for preparation and assistance in service of all meals to clients, staff and guests within the organization.

     

    Job Duties / Essential Functions

     

    + Follow weekly cycle menus and production worksheets while recording daily food preparation amounts and usages to include special diets.

    + Prepare hot and cold food working with a basic standardized recipe system.

    + Record daily food, refrigeration and dishwasher temperatures.

    + Assure overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas.

    + All other duties as assigned by management.

     

    Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

     

    + HS Diploma or GED required OR 5 years of relatable life and/or work experience to be verified by references and/or employment verification.

    + Prior cooking experience, preferably in a high volume setting.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

    + Valid driver's license required.

    + Flexible schedule depending on departmental needs

    + Able to work with children.

     

    Starting rate $18.87 an hour
