DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Aide to join our healthcare team. This vital role supports physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises

- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is clean and ready for use

- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions

- Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process

- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress notes

- Ensure safety and comfort of patients during therapy sessions

- Follow all healthcare protocols and confidentiality standards

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus

- Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is preferred

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Compassionate, patient-focused, and attentive to detail

- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques

- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist patients with mobility as needed
