Our Danfoss Turbocor Global Headquarters in Tallahassee, FLis looking for a Direct Sourcing Specialist to join our team! The Sourcing Specialist – Direct supports the development and execution of sourcing strategies for Direct Materials and Services at Danfoss. This role works closely with sourcing managers, engineering, and operations teams to assist in supplier coordination, data analysis, and procurement activities aimed at improving cost, quality, and delivery performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

Essential Functions, Key Tasks, & Responsibilities (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

+ Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to support cost analysis and sourcing decisions

+ Assist in sourcing activities for engineered electronics PCBA, casting parts, plastic parts, and machined components

+ Support supplier communications related to quality issues and corrective actions

+ Help track and report material/component issues and supplier performance

+ Contribute to sourcing initiatives by gathering data and preparing reports

+ Assist in identifying new sources for direct materials to improve service and delivery

+ Participate in spend analysis and supplier evaluations

+ Support contract preparation and review under guidance from senior sourcing staff

+ Help maintain sourcing documentation and supplier records.]

What We're Looking For

Education and/or Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Finance or combination of relevant experience

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain support roles or equivalent experience in operations

Preferred Qualifications

+ C.P.M. or C.P.I.M. and/or PMP certification is a plus

+ Technology Savvy with a strong working knowledge of MS Office Applications, specifically Excel, power BI

Job Criteria:

+ Ability to support project plans and sourcing activities across business unit

+ Strong analytical and communication skill

+ Up to 20% travel (domestic/international) may be require

+ Basic understanding of contract and negotiation principle

+ Willingness to learn and contribute to global sourcing initiatives
