Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Surgical Tech, you’ll prepare the operating room for a variety of surgeries. We can’t operate without you.

The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process.

+ Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization

+ Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting

+ Adapt to the needs of emergency situations

+ Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient

Job Requirements

Required Education:

+ **Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program**

Required Licensure and Certifications:

+ **NBSTSA or NCCT**

+ **Basic Life Support (BLS)**

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

+ **Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail.**

+ **Experience with varied high tech surgical equipment.**

PREFERRED Qualifications:

+ **One year perioperative services experience preferred**

Pay Range

$23.69 - $35.24 /hour
