• Pharmacy Technician II - Pharmacy, Rotating Shifts

    The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for assisting in the preparation, dispensing and delivery of medications to the patients of Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

    Qualifications

    Registered Technicians:

    * Be at least 16 years of age

    * Have a high school or equivalent diploma, or be working to achieve a high school or equivalent diploma

    * 2 years of customer service experience preferred

    * Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required within 9 months from date of hire.

    * The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.

    * Ability to multitask and attention to detail.

    * Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.

    Certified Technicians:

    * Associates degree in a health or related field, (with 1 year of pharmacy experience) or the equivalent in education and experience preferred.

    Requirements: Registered Technicians: — Registered Pharmacy Technician with the VT Board of Pharmacy required. BLS Certification required for Pharmacy Technicians if required to administer immunizations

    * Pay Range:$18.00-$20.00;

    * Work Status:Variable: 7:00 am - 9 pm , Monday to Friday; 7:00 am - 5 pm Sunday, Saturday, and Holiday's;
