    Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a Data Engineer - Fleet Operations & Analytics to join their team. As a Data Engineer - Fleet Operations & Analytics, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting Fleet Operations, Safety, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Data Engineer - Fleet Operations & Analytics

    **Location:** Foster City, CA

    **Pay Range:** $100/hour

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to process vehicle telemetry, service logs, and operations data

    + Build and maintain real-time data pipelines that process fleet telemetry, mission status, and dispatch data

    + Implement monitoring and alerting systems for data quality, latency, and availability

    + Integrate multiple software platforms and design large-scale data processing systems

    + Partner with operations teams to define KPIs and provide accessible, reliable datasets

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field with 6+ years of experience

    + Proven experience in data engineering, data science, ML, and predictive analytics

    + Proficiency with Databricks workflows, jobs, and platform capabilities

    + Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI

    + Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; PySpark experience preferred
