Job Description:
Sage is seeking a Director of Sales that will be responsible for growing the Sage HR revenue stream across the US within our SMB market. This role will be responsible for direct and cross sale initiatives which includes, but is not limited to:
• Working with cross functional colleagues to develop and lead enablement activities for selling teams both within Sage as well as our partner network.
• Leading sellers in cross sale activities and got to market motions
• Developing and nurturing partner relationships
• Leading sellers in direct sale activities as it relates to the Sage HR product line
• Leading a major and high visibility cross sell initiative across current Sage Small Business client base
This seasoned sales professional will have a record of sales leadership accomplishments in the technology industry, as well as a deep understanding of both Cloud/SaaS and Desktop software models. This individual will possess excellent leadership skills and have prior experience managing a high preforming sales team in a direct and cross sell capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience working or partnering with HR focused technologies and must be a strategist with excellent communication across multiple channels, with a high focus on net new ARR growth.
This is a hybrid role – 3 days per week in our Lawrenceville or Atlanta office.
Key Responsibilities:
You will:
• Develop and execute on sales strategy for our Specialty Sales teams
• ARR growth for Sage HR product
• Account Management, retention and renewal for Sage HR clients
• Manage a team of sellers operating in a cross sell and direct sales capacity
• Work cross functionally to coordinate and drive efforts that increase revenue growth and client/partner loyalty
• Evolve sales strategy and go to market motions based on Sage’s strategic objectives, business model updates and product changes
• Representation of Sage HR both internally as well as externally (ex. conferences, partner events, industry events, etc)
• Understand full Sage offerings and identify opportunities to work together with other leaders, increasing Sage’s overall visibility, unity and brand.
Must have:
• 10+ years of technology sales experience w/ at least 5 years in leadership
• Understanding of HCM or HR industry
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Strong relationship builder
• Strong focus on ARR growth targets
• Ability to manage pipeline, forecast accuracy and reporting
• Focus on sales driven prospecting and pipeline building
