    Job Title: Geotechnical EngineerPosition Overview

     

    We are looking for a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading geotechnical and geological evaluations, performing advanced engineering analyses, and contributing to the design and assessment of subsurface and deep foundation systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a solid understanding of Texas-specific geotechnical practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and conduct field investigations, including soil sampling and site explorations.

    + Perform geotechnical analyses and calculations, including Potential Vertical Rise (PVR) assessments.

    + Design and evaluate subsurface conditions, deep foundations, and global stability systems.

    + Prepare, review, and present technical reports and project proposals for a variety of clients and project scopes.

    + Mentor and supervise junior engineers, technicians, and support personnel.

    + Utilize geotechnical software tools for analysis and modeling.

    + Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and project standards.

    + Support additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by project leadership.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.

    + Minimum of 8 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably within the Texas consulting industry.

    + Proficiency in geotechnical software, including Slide and Volflow.

    + Demonstrated experience with deep foundation systems and ground improvement techniques.

    + Strong technical writing, organizational, and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience with TxDOT projects is a plus.

    + Familiarity with Texas-specific soil conditions and regional engineering standards.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
