The Facilities Manager oversees and coordinates the use, maintenance, and safety of facilities and equipment for both the School of Performing Arts (75%) and the Department of Art (25%). This position ensures that performance, rehearsal, classroom, and studio spaces are functional, safe, and appropriately maintained for academic and creative use.
• 30 hours/week (75%) with SPA (currently Class of 1944 Hall, Hauck Auditorium, Pavilion Theatre, Minsky Recital Hall)
• 10 hours/week (25%) with the Department of Art (currently Wyeth Family Studio Art Center, Sculpture Studio, York 6, Lord Hall, Fernald Hall)
Typically hiring range for this combined full-time position is $51,000 to $55,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ At least 3 years of related experience.
+ Working knowledge of facility safety standards for performance and studio environments.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CAD software, and scheduling platforms, or demonstrated ability to learn software effectively.
+ Competency with basic maintenance of equipment and facilities for performance and studio settings.
+ Competency in setup and operation of lighting and sound equipment.
+ Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
Preferred:
+ Experience with performing arts and/or visual art studio facilities strongly preferred.
+ Experience supervising students.
+ Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
+ Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
