Job Description
Join a pioneering startup focused on revolutionizing the Aerospace & Defense industry through 3D printing technology. We are designing and building a cutting-edge 3D printing machine capable of manufacturing complex, tight tolerance parts and components. As we enter the manufacturing and assembly phase, we are seeking a Test Engineer to lead mechanical and software testing efforts, ensuring the highest quality and precision in our product.
Responsibilities
+ Lead mechanical and software testing of 3D printers, printer assemblies, motors, and electrical components.
+ Develop and create comprehensive test plans and procedures.
+ Perform and run tests to evaluate product performance and quality.
+ Analyze test data to recommend design improvements and enhance manufacturability.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to support New Product Development initiatives.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in Test Engineering for industrial equipment, automotive, aerospace, defense, or heavy manufacturing (electromechanical products).
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (Associates degree acceptable with over 10 years of experience).
+ Proficiency in creating test plans, collecting data, and analyzing results.
+ Experience in testing for New Product Development.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong mechanical and electromechanical testing skills.
+ Experience in quality assurance and quality control.
+ Experience with test equipment and procedures.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite in an office environment, five days per week. The standard schedule is from 8 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility on start times. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
