We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Lead to oversee quality assurance operations in a dynamic food production environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings, enjoys mentoring teams, and is passionate about food safety and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
As the QA Lead, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our products, ingredients, and packaging through rigorous quality and safety protocols. Your leadership will directly impact our commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead, mentor, and support QA Technicians in daily operations.
+ Train technicians on QA procedures and responsibilities.
+ Monitor and enforce the HACCP Plan to maintain food safety standards.
+ Analyze quality data and recommend process improvements.
+ Ensure proper calibration of instruments for critical control points.
+ Collaborate with production teams on regulatory and quality issues; document corrective actions.
+ Conduct GMP training and ensure compliance across departments.
+ Maintain sanitation standards throughout production areas.
+ Collect and ship samples for R&D and external testing.
+ Participate in pilot and first production runs.
+ Investigate and report non-conformances.
+ Delegate tasks and perform direct observations of QA activities.
What You Bring
Required:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ 1–2 years of experience in QA or a related field.
Preferred:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline.
+ Certification in Food Safety or Quality Assurance.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Familiarity with GMPs and food safety fundamentals.
+ Ability to operate lab equipment and interpret technical specs.
+ Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., tablets, iPads).
+ Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
