Key Responsibilities
+ Collect measurements, conduct tests, and report results to ensure components meet specification ranges.
+ Audit food products for compliance with specifications.
+ Coordinate with production teams on regulatory and quality issues.
+ Document corrective actions and assess facility for sanitary compliance.
+ Measure weights and dimensions of finished goods.
+ Verify package integrity and labeling accuracy.
+ Operate standard lab equipment and use digital tools (e.g., tablets/iPads).
+ Interact with all levels of the organization to support quality initiatives.
+ Maintain training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety fundamentals.
Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ BS or AS in Food Science preferred
+ 1–2 years of related experience and/or training
+ Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
+ Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to read and understand specifications and technical documents.
+ Familiarity with GMPs and food safety protocols.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
