Job Title: Lead Full Stack Developer
Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain both e-commerce and internal systems that impact our customers and colleagues. This position involves acting as a technical and team lead, guiding project direction, feasibility, and making architectural decisions while ensuring high-quality code and fostering a collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain e-commerce and internal systems.
+ Act as a technical and team lead to guide project direction, feasibility, and architectural decisions.
+ Conduct regular one-on-one and quarterly meetings with developers to support their growth and clarify priorities.
+ Ensure high-quality code and a collaborative team culture through effective processes.
+ Track and support team accountability using weekly scorecards and performance metrics.
+ Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and tooling across the team.
+ Maintain and extend web infrastructure, including databases, libraries, APIs, and shared tools.
+ Troubleshoot and solve challenging system issues for customers and internal users.
+ Write and maintain comprehensive code documentation and team reference guides.
+ Be responsible for team performance, hiring, and career development.
+ Respond promptly to emergency issues during and outside of business hours.
+ Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Recent PHP experience with at least 7 years of expertise.
+ Current MySQL experience.
+ Development experience working at or for an e-commerce client.
+ Full-stack development experience including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
+ Experience with Jira and Linux.
+ 7-10 years of overall developer experience.
+ 3 years of leadership experience.
+ Technical leadership skills with 5+ years of e-commerce experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mastery in PHP and MySQL/MSSQL.
+ 10+ years of experience in Web Development.
+ 3+ years of direct leadership experience, having led a team or managed people directly.
Work Environment
The role requires working on-site for the first 60 - 90 days, followed by a hybrid schedule with on-site presence every Tuesday and Thursday. The team embraces a culture of trust, integrity, and innovative problem-solving while maintaining a warm and friendly atmosphere. You will lead two current developers and spend 75% of your time developing, with the remaining 25% dedicated to leadership responsibilities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Gilbert, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
