Job Title: Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a full-service A/E firm specializing in Architectural, Structural, MEP, and Civil projects, we are looking for a candidate who can bring basic concepts and ideas to fruition with minimal supervision and who thrives in a collaborative team environment. This role will focus on site observation responsibilities, field documentation, and analysis of existing sites.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct site feasibility studies.

+ Perform site and environmental analysis.

+ Develop schematic designs.

+ Coordinate engineering systems.

+ Conduct site cost analysis.

+ Develop site design.

+ Prepare site construction documents.

+ Research specifications and materials.

+ Check and coordinate documents.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.

+ 1-2 years or more of experience in site/civil design, including authoritative codes and regulations, subsurface utilities design (sanitary and water), site grading, storm sewer systems and facilities, and land disturbance permitting.

+ Possession of or in the process of obtaining an EIT.

+ Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Desire to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

+ Experience with stormwater, drainage, grading, and project management.

Work Environment

The Civil Engineer will work out of our office in Ft. Wayne, IN. You will become an integral part of the Civil Team, working closely with the Civil Department Manager. The team is known for being close-knit and supportive, providing a positive work environment. With a strong backlog of projects, the team supports projects across the country, offering ample opportunity for growth and development as both an engineer and a project manager.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
