    A leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm is looking to add a Technology Designer to their team!

    Technology Designer - Job Description

    In this role, you will leverage your prior experience to transform system design concepts into specific layouts. This involves interpreting information from the basis of design, user inputs, other consultants, field surveys, and code research.

    Responsibilities

    + Convert system design concepts into specific layouts

    + Interpret information from various sources including design documents, user inputs, and field surveys

    + Design Information Communications Technology (ICT) systems in a built environment

    + Lead the design for ICT projects

    + Utilize strong Revit proficiency in ICT systems and infrastructure design

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience designing ICT systems in a built environment, building technology, or electrical consulting firm

    + Proficiency in Revit

    + Experience with ICT systems and infrastructure including budgets, capabilities, and options

    + Experience in horizontal cabling, copper backbone, and fiber backbone

    + Understanding of wireless access points, physical security systems, and audio-visual systems

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + RCDD certification is beneficial

    + Experience in construction documents and technology engineering

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $72.12/hr.
