Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Minnesota. This role is responsible for overseeing financial processes, ensuring accurate data validation, and driving operational efficiency through advanced analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and data analytics, as well as a passion for process improvement and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation of cash disbursement processes, ensuring accuracy by collaborating with stakeholders and addressing discrepancies.

• Develop and maintain complex spreadsheets, financial models, and validation processes to support scaling operations.

• Manage period-end accounting close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.

• Analyze revenue, operating expenses, and administrative costs to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Provide audit readiness documentation to maintain transparency and compliance during accounting close processes.

• Oversee the monthly service fee billing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing while identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.

• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at achieving key business objectives.

• Support enterprise financial planning through budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis using performance management software.

• Conduct financial modeling for business case reviews, performance tracking, and target setting.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; advanced certifications preferred.

• Minimum of seven years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.

• Proficiency in financial systems, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.

• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, business, and data analytics concepts.

• Skilled in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.

• Proven ability to improve processes and automate workflows, including working with large datasets.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
