    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will support our accounting operations by performing tasks such as data entry, accounts payable processing, and corporate credit card management. This is a part-time position, offering flexible hours, with the potential for extension beyond the end of December. This is a part-time (24 hours) onsite position in San Francisco, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems to ensure records are up-to-date.

    • Process accounts payable transactions, including coding invoices and managing payments using Bill.com.

    • Handle corporate credit card maintenance and resolve chargeback issues efficiently.

    • Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including reconciling incoming payments.

    • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

    • Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting operations.

    • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation for auditing purposes.

    • Utilize Sage Intacct and other accounting software to streamline processes.

    Requirements

    • 1+ years experience in Accounting or would like to learn accounting

    • Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage Intacct, Bill.com, and QuickBooks.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.

    • Excellent communication skills with a positive and detail-focused attitude.

    • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and tools.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
