Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee and manage key financial operations within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing essential reports, and supporting audits. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team in Manteno, Illinois.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Oversee the maintenance and reconciliation of the general ledger to maintain financial accuracy.

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Support and coordinate external and internal audits, including providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.

• Reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure financial data integrity.

• Supervise the preparation and posting of journal entries in line with company policies.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls.

• Train and mentor accounting staff to ensure growth and adherence to best practices. Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting management or a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

• Familiarity with preparing and analyzing financial statements.

• Experience with financial statement audits, including coordination and documentation.

• Proficiency in account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

• Skilled in preparing and reviewing journal entries.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.
