    Job Title: Lathe Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled setup machinist to join our team in Anaheim, CA. Our machine shop specializes in custom gears, machined parts, and assemblies for various industries, including aerospace, defense, medical, commercial oil, power, and automotive.

    Responsibilities

    + Read blueprints and check part dimensions with appropriate measuring instruments.

    + Accurately use measuring tools and understand necessary company procedures relevant to the position.

    + Perform in-process inspection of machined parts.

    + Collaborate with the Supervisor and Quality Department to ensure parts meet customer specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with CNC Okuma's; LT300MY, LB3000, and L250.

    + Experience with aerospace parts and inspection tools/methods with tolerances up to .0005''.

    + Excellent communication skills and proven problem-solving abilities.

    + 2+ years' experience in a precision machining environment (Operator) or a minimum of 5 years (Setup).

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mastercam experience is a plus.

    + Ability to make adjustments at the machine.

    + Light setup knowledge with G code or Mastercam experience.

    Work Environment

     

    Join our clean, air-conditioned machine shop with a team of 50 dedicated employees. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Enjoy a collaborative and dynamic work environment that encourages skill development and innovation.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $35.00/hr.
