Job Title: Packaging Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator to join our team. This role involves efficiently monitoring downstream packaging and related capping and casing equipment while ensuring quality standards. The position requires performing periodic package and case integrity tests, proper setup and changeovers of equipment and supplies, as well as rework and sanitation duties. You'll be responsible for the efficient operation of automated systems and troubleshooting using computer touch screens.

Responsibilities

+ Monitor and manage downstream packaging and related equipment.

+ Ensure quality standards by performing periodic integrity tests on packages and cases.

+ Set up and change over equipment and supplies as needed.

+ Perform rework and sanitation duties.

+ Operate automated systems efficiently.

+ Troubleshoot issues using computer touch screens.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, packaging, or warehouse operations.

+ Attention to detail.

+ Ability to read and comprehend English work instructions.

+ Capability to work a 12-hour shift while standing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ General labor and assembly experience.

+ Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
