    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving associate to join our team on 1st shift.. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various shipping and packaging tasks to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Looking for an individual that has ERP, forklift, and shipping experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload customer orders into company vehicles for delivery.

    + Package products into boxes securely.

    + Maintain materials in good order during handling, shipping, receiving, and storage.

    + Adhere to designated schedules and deadlines for delivery, shipping, and receiving.

    + Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.

    + Handle shipping and receiving activities, including UPS, auto freight, will call, store-to-store transfers, and LTL shipments.

    + Ensure smooth warehouse operations, including general material handling duties, cycle counting, and inventory records accuracy.

    + Control inventory and examine shipping and receiving discrepancies and damages.

    + Assist in maintaining and upkeeping warehouse machinery and equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience.

    + Experience working with overhead cranes.

    + Experience with forklifts (both stand-up and sit-down).

    + Proficiency in ERP systems.

    + Efficiency in data entry and reviewing customer orders.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Flexibility to cross-train and assist in other departments.

    + Experience in shipping and packaging.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a new, organized shop that can be loud with machinery in operation. The first shift operates from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
