Job Title: Welder

1st shift - $25-$28

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder who is adept at interpreting instructions, designs, and schematics to produce custom items. The role involves tack welding and using spot welders to assemble cabinet mounts and components. Additionally, you will operate machinery such as punch, shear, and press brakes as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret and follow designs, instructions, and schematics to produce custom items.

+ Perform tack welding and use spot welders for assembling cabinet mounts and components.

+ Operate punch, shear, and press brake machinery.

+ Engage in sheet metal fabrication and assembly work.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Utilize tape measures and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of education or on-the-job welding experience.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Competency in using a tape measure.

+ Proficiency in basic mathematics functions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with MIG welding and grinding.

+ Familiarity with general labor and production processes.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, air-conditioned manufacturing environment that is unionized upon hire. The company, established in 1981, specializes in both standard and custom electrical distribution equipment, serving national and international markets. The environment is fast-paced and focused on custom manufacturing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.70 - $26.00/hr.
