Job Title: PLC Maintenance Technician

1st shift, Direct Hire, $35-$45/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician capable of troubleshooting and performing industrial and electrical repairs on machines. The facility includes a three-year-old extrusion machine, presses, and CNC machines.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery with a focus on electrical systems.

+ Rewire 3-phase 480V motors and work with relays.

+ Utilize PLC knowledge, particularly in ladder logic, for minor edits and troubleshooting.

+ Demonstrate strong knowledge of pH monitors, voltage, and conductivity meters.

+ Replace and set parameters for Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).

+ Conduct troubleshooting repairs on paint lines.

+ Perform welding and fabrication tasks, including using welding equipment, saws, drills, and fabricating components.

+ Work as a multi-craft technician with strong electrical knowledge.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance-related position within manufacturing.

+ Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and multi-craft maintenance.

+ Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintaining 3-phase motors, press machines, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Fabrication experience is strongly preferred but not required.

+ PLC experience is required.

+ Prior experience with extrusion, anodize, and automated paint lines is a plus.

+ Leadership experience is ideal.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift position from 7 am to 3 pm with overtime available as needed, averaging 50 hours per week. The work environment is a high-speed manufacturing facility that can be very dirty, loud, and hot in the summers, and cold in the winters. The facility houses extrusion equipment that increases the ambient temperature.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
