    Job Title: Forming Operator

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing rubber tubing for the automotive industry. As a Forming Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by handling and forming rubber products with precision and care.

    Responsibilities

    + Retrieve pre-forms and guide them onto mandrels using lubricant.

    + Load mandrels into curing racks and transport them into autoclaves.

    + Remove cured hoses and unload mandrels efficiently.

    + Place formed hoses into designated containers, ensuring proper organization.

    + Label baskets with job and employee clock numbers for accurate tracking.

    + Set up curing racks according to production and supervisor instructions.

    + Replenish lubricant as needed to maintain smooth operations.

    + Complete necessary paperwork and accurately record cure charts.

    + Follow standard practices or supervisor instructions to ensure product quality.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a high-paced assembly or Quality Inspection environment.

    + Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

    + Capability to push/pull and lift over 50 lbs.

    + Proficiency in bending, reaching, and handling materials frequently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with assembly, inspection, warehouse, and general labor tasks.

    + Experience with heavy assembly, heavy lifting, and physical work in a hot environment.

    + factory, production, construction, or outdoor work.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOUNT STERLING, Kentucky.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.91 - $23.16/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
