    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift. The primary focus of this role is to maintain the E-Coat and Powder Coat lines, as well as assist in the stamping press area when necessary. This position requires a blend of mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure the efficient operation of motors, gears, pumps, filters, plumbing lines, and electrical systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance on E-Coat and Powder Coat lines.

    + Assist in maintaining the stamping press area as needed.

    + Repair and maintain motors, gears, pumps, and filters.

    + Manage plumbing lines, including piping and couplers.

    + Conduct electrical troubleshooting on PLCs and replace fuses using a multimeter.

    + Fabricate and weld guards and stands.

    + Conduct facilities maintenance both inside the plant and outside.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical expertise in motors and pumps.

    + Electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly with PLCs and fuses.

    + Plumbing experience.

    + Strong understanding of preventive maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints.

    + Experience in hydraulics.

    + Proficiency in welding and fabrication.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is for the 2nd shift, running from 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an extended shift until 11:30pm on Friday nights. The work environment is dynamic and involves closing the plant for the night. Weekend work may be required if production demands it.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $34.75 - $34.75/hr.
