Job Title: Welder and Fabricator

Job Description

As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for performing various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture projects according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. You will join metal and other materials using appropriate techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

+ Perform weld preparation, welding, and finishing operations according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

+ Join metal and other materials using appropriate welding techniques.

+ Follow engineering plans, drawings, and instructions closely.

+ Operate tools, machinery, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.

+ Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and adherence to standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in fabrication and blueprint reading.

+ Skilled in MIG welding, steel welding, and using flux core techniques.

+ Experience with sheet metal and fitting processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment operation.

Work Environment

The position operates within a manufacturing shop environment, requiring the use of tools, machinery, and welding equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deland, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
