Job Title: Utility Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team in a rubber manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping with our office renovations and maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

+ Help assemble and move furniture to different office buildings

+ Clean up and remove waste

+ Pick up shavings and clippings from the floor.

+ Maintain and organize the facility

+ Take out trash from plastics, rubber outside area, and other designated areas.

+ Various other tasks as assigned

Essential Skills

+ 1-3 years of general labor, assembly, facility maintenance, etc

+ Experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of facilities maintenance and production processes.

+ Experience with janitorial tasks such as mopping and trash removal.

+ Familiarity with shipping and receiving, packaging, inventory, and warehouse operations.

Work Environment

The work environment is a very clean and orderly shop floor with climate control. The first shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm, and candidates must be flexible with hours and overtime. While the environment is generally comfortable, it can be hot and loud at times. Previous experience in similar settings is advantageous.

This is a Contract position based out of HUMBLE, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr.
