Job Title: Field Carpenter
Job Description
We’re seeking a Field Carpenter with a strong work ethic and a passion for precision. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in framing, finish carpentry, and job site coordination. You’ll play a key role in executing construction plans, ensuring structural integrity, and maintaining safety standards across diverse projects.
Responsibilities
+ Execute construction plans accurately and efficiently.
+ Ensure structural integrity through precise framing and finish carpentry.
+ Coordinate job site activities and maintain communication with multiple trades.
+ Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
+ Use power and hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of carpentry experience in commercial or industrial construction.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and a thorough knowledge of building codes and OSHA safety standards.
+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with connecting steel beams, columns, and girders using bolts, welds, or other fasteners.
+ Skilled in using tools like turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks, drills, and grinders.

Work Environment
Most work will take place on active construction sites such as office buildings, schools, hospitals, warehouses, and retail spaces. Carpenters will work both indoors and outdoors, depending on the project phase, and must be prepared to work in varying weather conditions. The sites are typically high-activity zones, requiring effective coordination and communication with multiple trades.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wrightstown, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
